Christina Psycha was born in Patras and grew up in Aigio. She begun her musical journey by the age of eight when she started to take piano lessons. Few years later, she enrolled in the music school of Aigio where she studied harmony and other advance music theory courses. At the age of 18 she moved in the city of Ioannina for her Bachelor studies majoring in “Preschool education”. At the same time she studied classical singing and participated in several bands as a singer playing concerts in the local music scene. Four years later, she finished her undergraduate studies and she moved to Athens when she start taking jazz voice and percussion lessons. She was participated in many music seminars by jazz artists from Greece and abroad. Very soon, she started creating her own bands emphasising in world music sounds but mainly in the Latin tradition. At that time, she start writing her own songs (music and lyrics) and presented them in her music concerts. At 2017 she begun her studies for a Master Degree at the National conservatory of Athens majoring in Jazz music performance and new technologies. While she was studying there she completed her debut album in cooperation with Nikolas Anadolis who did the arrangements of her latest songs. This Album includes eleven original songs and one arrangement of a well known traditional Greek song. Right after the album recordings, she travels in U.S.A , Canada and Central America where she worked as a singer in several music events. At mid-2020 she completed the Album process – Album is called “VIOLETERA” – and she is about to release it during the spring of 2021.
